That word use many times in the world nowaday.
Hyundai make mild hybrid bus.
that bus has motor generator and idling stop system.
bus that bus run by engine. that is defferent thing other hybrid buses.
So not hybrid, our called mild hybrid or semi-hybrid.

Bus driver or worker in bus operator know about tachograph.
Joyoung automotive make digital tachograph. the product is standard spec in korea.
DT-201 is standard option for Daewoobus (FX series).
DT-301 is digital tachograph and CCTV.
Some operator in korea save their fuel consumption according to using digital tachograph.

Starting Euro 4 reguration at 2008 in South Korea. There are big change at buses. there are 3 bus maker and 2 engine maker in korea. Hyundai and Kia motors use hyundai's powertec engine and daewoobus use doosan's DL, DV engine.
Hyundai's powertec engine is taking EGR system, but Doosan's DL, DV engine is taking SCR system.
Official opinion of 3 bus makers.
1. Kia : our bus, granbird is lighter than hyundai's bus(universe). so granbird is better fuel consumption.
2. Daewoobus : our bus taking SCR system. so more poewrful and good fuel consumption. over 5~10% than Euro 3 engine.
3. Hyundai : our egr system optimized our buses. and sub items of engine show more efficiency. so our engine's performence is good.
There are data sheet of road test. but it is very sensitive. so we do not open that data.

Ministry of Construction & Transportation announced standard specification for low floor buses.
There are two low floor bus models. One is Daewoobus's, the other is Hyundai motor company's model.
The new standard model is change some parts(made in korea) instead of foreign product.
And also it reduce weight from 12.1ton to 10.5 ton.
It means the fuel expense of total 5,000,000,000 won degree will be reduced.
Ministry of Construction & Transportation against the new standatd low floor bus will supply from year 2009 after listening opinion of citizen, operator and obstacle people.
